What is the html coding to get my background photo to fit any size screen?
I have a picture that I am using on a new website. The code I used is:
On my 19" screen, the image is too large, and I cannot see the entire photo. On my other 22" screen, I get the whole photo, but it doesn't stretch to fit the screen, but starts tiling. What is the coding to get the image to fit any size screen?
@ Bumblebee: The code DOES NOT work because it DOES NOT resize the image. Plus, just because a lot of code works today doesn't mean it is up-to-date and should be used. Learn to code to the latest standards or quit making crappy "web sites". We already have enough crappy sites on the Internet now!
Bad coding for one. Totally outdated. Under current CSS 2.1 standards, background images can not be resized. CSS 3.0, once supported, will allow this. Using some CSS trickery, this might help you...
