wanting to buy a fisheye lens for my d70?

I want to buy a fisheye lens for my Nikon D70, but I want the one that allows you to take the photo and have it come out with the black corners. Any suggestions?

My suggestion is to forget about it. You'll use it ten times and then it will sit in a drawer.

It's not the same, but you can mimic this in Photoshop with the lens distortion tool and a black vignette with hard edges, as suggested by Trip.

Modern fisheye lenses have been engineered to eliminate those dark corners and the cropped sensor of the D70 probably wouldn't get that part of the image anyway. Look at this... http://www.flickr.com/photos/smash13/4024534846/ You can use a wide angle lens - even your 18mm - and shoot close to your subject through a cardboard tube. Hey, maybe you can even put a short piece of toilet paper tube on the end of the lens. Experiment with the length so that it cuts off all the corners.
