im 4''11 whats the good hockey stick size for me? I know there is youth,junior,intermediate, and senior.?
Im a beginner at hockey and i dont know much about gear and all that stuff.
If your older, get a regular adult hockey stick and cut it off with a saw to your personal preference of length. Stand on your tip toes with your stick in front of you and mark the stick where it hits your chin and cut it off there. A longer stick will give you more power on your shots and give you longer reach, but will be more difficult to stickhandle. A shorter stick will be better for stickhandling but will lose on reach.
If your younger and just a starter a junior stick might be better.
