can i use dryer sheets on fleece when it says no fabric softeners?
i have a lot of winter wear fleeces and such that say not to use fabric softener, does this mean im not supposed to use dryer sheets either. it is very dry in my location and static electric is a terrible in the winter.
The reason the instructions say no liquid detergents and no fabric softeners (and that includes dryer sheets) is that it destroys the ability of these high tech fabrics to wick moisture away from the skin, which is what helps keep you comfortable.
Don't dry them in a dryer if you've got static issues -- just hang dry. Raise the humidity in the house to about 50% if static continues to be a problem.
